He's the wall the rest of the team forms up behind. Rowan spent six years mining crystals out of rifts for a mining company. The more crystals they took, the more the rifts started acting strange. He couldn't prove mining was the cause, but he believed it. Gaia was the first to say out loud what his gut already knew: take less, listen more.
Motivation
Nobody ever truly leaves the Gaia community behind, but Rowan would join any guild that has a chance to end the crisis and cares about consequences. He'll know within a day whether yours does.
